Setup
Step-by-step guide to connecting your Google Calendar to Antei securely and reliably.
Google Calendar – Integration Setup
This guide outlines how to connect your Google Calendar to Antei, enabling secure access to scheduled events and supporting tax and compliance automation.
Authentication Method
Antei uses OAuth 2.0 to securely connect with your Google account.
- Type: OAuth 2.0 (Authorization Code Flow)
- Scopes Requested:
- Read-only access to calendar events and metadata
- Optional write access to create or update Antei-related events
- Granularity: You may restrict sync to specific calendars
- Security: All tokens are encrypted and stored per organization
🔐 Antei is SOC 2 compliant. All syncs and write actions are logged and auditable.
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Navigate to Integrations → Google Calendar
From the Antei dashboard, go to Integrations and click Connect Google Calendar.
2. Authorize Access via Google
You will be redirected to Google’s OAuth consent screen. Select your account and grant the requested permissions.
3. Configure Sync Settings
Once authorized, choose your preferred configuration:
- Select Calendar(s) — pick from available work calendars
- Enable Write Access (Optional) — allow Antei to create return reminders or SOP-linked entries
- Sync Window — choose how far back to pull event data
✅ Only calendar data relevant to work or mapped entities is synced. Personal or unrelated calendars are excluded.
Verification & Testing
After setup:
- Calendar visibility test – Verifies access to event metadata
- Sample sync test – Pulls event summary to check structure
- Audit trail – All access and writes are logged in Settings → Logs
